Triskele Antique Bronze and Crystal Earrings and Necklace Set
Triskele Antique Bronze and Crystal Earrings and Necklace Set
The Triskele, also known as the Triskelion, has many meanings in Celtic culture. The name of the symbol comes from the Greek word "Triskeles" meaning "three legs" and dates back to the Iron Age.
In Celtic Mythology it represents the three gods Lugh, Daghda, and Ogme. It has also been known to represent the three aspects of a goddess: daughter, mother, and wife. Another meaning attributed is that of three different states of being: waking, sleeping, and dreaming.
Those of you who are fans of Teen Wolf will recognize the symbol as well and could possibly have been chosen to represent another meaning: the three phases of the moon.
Whatever the symbol means to you, this unique art nouveau filigree triskele chandelier earrings and necklace set is a beautiful addition to anyone's jewelry collection.
